School's up again tmr - boring.But one thing to be comforted about is Labour Day i.e. public hols on Tuesday !!!! Yes, we students deserve it too as we're labours of the Singapore Educational system.... though not economically productive, at least we're are positive externalities - I hope :P :p

Some examples of the panel code of the Islamic Republic of Iran where women are deemed to be treated unfairly:

• Girls are considered adults at the age of 9, can be tried as an adult in a criminal court and are liable to receive the death penalty for murder. Boys become adults only at the age of 15. (i.e. reduce their risk and time frame of dying as compared to girls *roll eyes roll eyes*)
• If a man and a women are injured in an accident, the man gets double the punitive damages. (say, the man gets 10k compensation and the women gets 5k *tsk tsk*)
• Although the legal age of marriage for a girl is 13, a father can make her marry earlier with court permission.
• Mothers may not act as the financial guardian of their children or make decisions regarding their children's residence, foreign travel or medical care.
• women need permission from a father or husband to travel. (what the fcuk - means what, must write parent letter and sign ??!! or what, voice record and say they allow, then the girl will play it to the bus conductor before shes allowed on the bus ??!! B.S)
• Men have uncontested rights to divorce their wives, and may practice polygamy.
• Women receive half the inheritance of men.
• If a men dies childless, his entire inheritance goes to his parents, not his wife.
• Women can be stoned to death for adultery.

Those mad cows no i mean bull just have to demean women to make themselves feel superior ??!!

Poor Iranian women. But then again, they may not know that they're pathetic as they've never lived otherwise.

To get a girl, the minimal you can do is to make her feel that shes unique in her own way, and to you as well.
No wonder some Mr Nice Guys don't/can't get gfs - simply because they're nice to everybody and anybody that girls don't feel that they're special to them in any way.

so Ironic. So Mr Nice Guys - refrain from being too nice, widen the gap of sweetness to people. Focus more on the 'You-should' and dilute it as it sinks to the bottom.

Pastor Melvin told us to close our eyes, think of a person we hate, and that we think of revenging against him/her everyday - then pray for the person and ask God to help you forgive and bless him/her.

i dun have anyone who fits the bill on my mind.
i wonder if its gd or bad....coz gd wld mean i dun hate anybody to the extent of constantly thinking of how to get back at the person; bad because maybe its already indifference towards him/her.

hate is not the opposite of love coz when hate, theres still feelings. Indifference = 0 hope, 0 concern, simply ignorance

Jude says in such cases, it maybe because they hurt more people than others hurting them thus naturally nobody would fit the bill.
I don't exactly see the relevence. Probably its like if i hurt them, they hate me ?? I think thats what he is referring to....
Then, he kept harping on the fact that he forgives. But i don't see how true is it when he made the above statement. It appears to me that he is emphasis that he is hurt. Only he alone is hurt....

To the extent of him being hurt, he made it seem like he is a poor victim. But in my pov, if the hurt is so great, why does he thinks that he is the only one being hurt in the process.... The other party whom he thought he was hurt by is probably being hurt in the process too.
I always believe hurt a double-edge sword. One can never cause hurt without hurting themselves first....
And if he really forgives, why does it bring up this hurt time and again....

Pastor Melvin says forgive = forgetting it in a form of a sin.

Guess he nv understands that. Yet.

Often we're nice to others because they're nice to us .... Whilst sometimes, it cld just be because we feel indebted to them therefore we're nice to them....

Indebted in a way probably because we've once hurt them, and that we acknowledge, hence we'll try ways and means to make it up to them.... to try to do anything that cld possibly make them happy or even happier....and more importantly or solely for our own's personal interest - to ease the guilt within us....

A final note....whatever that's done is justifiable....
